The MINSK MARRIOTT HOTEL is looking for the HOTEL MANAGER.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Along with the General Manager responsible for the management Hotel staff.
- Direct reporting to the General Manager.
- Increased productivity through increased sales and appropriate cost management.
- Organization of the day-to-day business operations with the goal of optimal performance in terms of utilization, turnover, and guest satisfaction.
- Continuous optimization of services and verification of hotel standards.
- Participation in the preparation of the annual budget and forecast, as well as analysis of the P & L results.
- Replacing of the General Manager in his absence.
CANDIDATE PROFILE:
- 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major.
- 4 years experience in the guest services, front desk, housekeeping, sales and marketing, management operations, or related professional area.
OR
- 2 years experience in the guest services, front desk, housekeeping, sales and marketing, management operations, or related professional area.
- Extensive experience in the field of tourism and hospitality.
- Familiar with Marriott hotel chain standards.
- Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays and late nights.
- Ability to work and communicate in a multinational environment.
- Russian language – good oral and written skills (as applicable).
- English – excellent oral and written skills.
COMPETENCIES:
- Sound experience in the operational management of a house in the order of at least 150 rooms or operational experience from a deputy position.
- Ideally, current focus in the area of rooms, as well as affinity to the F&B area.
- The ability to motivate and lead a team of over 200 employees as a role model.
- Entrepreneurial thinking and action combined with a sense of responsibility and loyalty to Marriott Hotels.
- Enjoying being a host and team player and being available as a contact person.
- Resilience and the ability to keep a calm mind even in stressful situations.
- Excellent manners.
